Pearl's pearl quests still suck

Recommended Posts

I missed when this happened, but apperanetly you no longer need summer to get pearls pearl, because house upgrades changed requirements. But the quest line is still boring, annoying and purposely wastes time for no other reason than to give an illusion that ocean has reasons for existing and Return of them added content to dst.

Can we cut the crap with season, weather and fishing requirements and just let players do all quests at once in whichever season they joined server? Give her litteraly any other favorite dish and make her except gifts even if it isn't snowing/raining. That's it.

The questline is one of the best things DST has related to progression. And most of pearl's requests aren't seasonally locked: 3 levels of housing, five heavy fish, berry bushes, cleaning the sea, drying stuff, planting flowers. That leaves only 2 more quests for pearl, which different seasons offer with their seasonal fish, umbrella in a rain, removing lureplant, coat in snow and salad in summer; if anything the season specific ones are really easy for you to get some extra favors in.

Though I believe Peal should have a bonus quest of growing an above average tree at her island for a canope to shield her island from wildfires and rain.
