Frosty_Mentos
I like playing as him cause I get to do more things without wasting inventory space. Multitasking, building crafting and everything while I get my materials by reliable shadows than relying on other people to do any work. He's just very convenient to play as and live as cause you can be the source provider to the rest of the group if there's a need of specific materials. Wicker refresh added the utility of me not needing to constantly change characters if I need to do some magic like rain. Wicker and Maxwell together makes mundane tasks bearable and the world generally safer. I've provided resources to public bases and things looked nice and spiffy, life became more comfortable for me and them. The only thing I've got to pick with is that his duelists back in like 2015 or something got nerfed hard and I want that reversed or improved. Reduced damage sucks cause they barely do any and their kiting often isn't fruitful cause they're too frail and ends up costs too many resources cause they need spears. They can be useful when clearing some areas but not entirely. They can be useful when clearing some areas but not entirely. If I'm not wrong, the duelists themselves never got nerfed statistically; they only received a pretty nifty regen. Their usage/summoning, the ai and the duelist cap, however; got nerfed hard. In return for time-effective gatherers that are multitasking-compatible and thus extremely competent, the duelists lost their spammability from just reading the codex with something like blue caps/bwings to heal you back. Having only two out at a time hurt their dps and survival as mobs split the attacks between two instead of three, kiting AI hurt their dps criminally overall(thus dragging on day-to-day combat and exposing them to even greater danger, worse survival) and the biggest nerf was porting followers from DS to DST: no longer can they be commanded to attack without you doing so, requiring that you at least walk over to the mob in question or pretend to toss a boomerang. This was some pretty terrible QoL degradation. Wendy refresh undid this nerf with the rile up/soothe mechanic, so I hope they leave the gatherers as they are but tie the duelists back to the codex again, with a similar mechanic. I dunno, but it was a bad nerf they did to him and I wish the damage cap was back to being high like before or something done like making them nearly invincible to oneshots and not costing spears. If you make them not cost spears anymore, duelists win again. Splitting the incoming damage to three was one thing but not taking up five inventory slots of very simple materials just to be made is whad killed them.
