Should Walter get afew more tweaks

The one last thing I can ask for in terms of simple tweaks is slowdown rounds also increasing the attack cooldown of a mob. The Poison Spear from SW is one of my favourite weapons in the entire series because it slowed an enemies movement, increased their attack cooldown, and made them deal less damage.

I feel it's only fair Walter's slowdown rounds also increased attack cooldown as it would bring a mechanic that hasn't yet been done in DST yet giving him a unique perk, and hey, according to Wanda it straight up affects the flow of time so seems like it'd be thematic. :razz:

Let it also slowdown Wanda's natural health drain when she's hit by one in PvP. Wooo! PvP synergy between Wanda and Walter!

His freeze rounds are more expensive to make less safe to use and are wasted if used against easier to freeze mobs it's a matter of perspective really not saying your wrong but I don't think your right either.

As for cursed rounds they're just flashy marble rounds in nearly every scenario and that just seems crappy to me personally.

New rounds an a slight buff to attack range (helps with kiting without increasing damage output) is all walters slingshot needs... coming from a walter main with 3000hrs an a good 1000hr of that as walter lol

Woby should have more inventory slots when she gets big, bigger dog can carry more stuff, perfectly logical me thinks.

Pinecone hat also needs a buff, should have both winter and summer insulation, buff both to tier 2.. makes it useful to give to teammates and a unique survival clothing gear which is fitting for a boy scout... maybe make it a wee bit more expensive to craft to justify it.

his sluggish animation when firing is what makes me not enjoy walter, i just want them to increase his attack speed and make him aim like in the forge, it takes way too long for him to start firing, i dont mind the DPS and efficiency of his weapon i just want it to feel good to use 

The 8 HP before Woby bucks seems perfect imo. With a Football helmet you're looking at 40 points of damage before you get thrown off. With a Marble Suit, which Marble is a thing you're gonna want as Walter anyway, you're looking at 160 points before falling off.

Voted yes for the first option but that's more because I think he should fire a bit faster in general, definitely not anywhere as fast as a melee weapon but a tiny buff. And as for the cursed rounds, the only thing I don't like about them is the randomness of whether or not a round will spawn a tentacle but this is probably a non-issue. Just have some backup ammo.

Personally when it comes to his damage output with the slingshot if I had to choose I would say it should do more damage rather than fire faster at least enough damage per minute to be close to but still lower than a weapon equivalent to their tiers I know there's the long standing argument that the slingshot makes you safer therefore it should take much longer to fight with it but I have to look at other characters with followers, damage boosts and reductions and ask what about them? As for the whole well you can cheese bosses with it thing well why not patch that?

Actually this was something I meant to add to the poll but I forgot.:lol:

If you don't mind, I'm going to add this to my Walter suggestions.

And yes he needs more than a few tweaks, he needs a 2.0 rework like Wurt,

Woby should buck you off at least 16 damage, so you can get a decent hit and think -Maybe I should move.

Cursed rounds are just a reeskin of  the marbles, they deal the same damage, but you have to go to the ruins to make them, so they spawn a shadow tentacle, it's not worth it.

About the speed, I always say that: Make Walter shoot his slingshot faster while he is riding Woby to make some synergy between his perks and a good reason to use Big Woby in battles, because no matter how many hp can we tank using big Woby, she has no use in battles.

BTW I think the speed of big Woby suck too, because most of the time she will not be at full speed making it hard to kite.

This feels excessive even more so if your using high tier armor this means if your wearing marble or shadow armor it takes 11 hits from a pigman to knock you off woby or in boss terms 5 hits from dragonfly all of which is canceled out if you don't get hit for about 4 seconds this is basically removing the bucking mechanic altogether when you consider woby's speed.

More or less agree with the rest tho

3rd question was about the shadow tentacle effect on cursed rounds initially I had the idea of it spawning a shadow Walter firing a shot or two instead but I like Memetan's idea of spawning a shadow bishop better.
