droooney Posted June 22, 2022 Share Posted June 22, 2022 I've been recently farming some celestial champions in my megabase world and was a bit upset about a couple of things: Moonstorms spawning in the most horrendous places. The more you build over the world the more becomes the chance that a moonstorm is spawned on top of your nice build which can mess up your walls, fences, creatures. Moreover it's quite inconvenient to do a moonstorm quest within a build. I suggest we could have some sort of device that could move a moonstorm to a certain location. For example if you place this device, it would attract a moonstorm similarly to a lightning rod. It doesn't have to be cheap since it's an optional opportunity and could be craftable from gears, goat horns, etc and we could be forced to charge it from time to time. Also this way if you're not playing Wanda, you wouldn't have to travel across all your map to do a next moonstorm quest. For me that would be the best QOL possible since I love glowcaps so much It could sometimes be a little tedious to collect charged moon glass since you need a lot of it and it spoils so fast. Also it doesn't really make sense that you essentially need to kill bee queen to kill/farm celestial champion. I again suggest some kind of craftable device that would allow you to charge regular moonglass. Again it doesn't really have to be cheap since you're not forced to use this. Eughstein Posted June 22, 2022 Share Posted June 22, 2022 1.Agree, it usually very often spawns on my base or near it, but it can't actually harm your walls fences and other things 2.charged moon glass used to spoil way faster before, it spoiling 1 days is way more than it used to be.CC is endgame boss, it's expected from player to kill bee queen at least 1 time already, same as FW.You can use moon glass for glass cutters(that are very useful if you using enligthment crown due to their high damage and no sanity penalty) and statues, also axes, so ig it's already useful enough. Charged moon glass pools, when destroyed naturally around/on top of walls, fences damage them. And along with moongleams they damage creatures as well. If you have a goat farm you absolutely can not do the quest around them, since they can become charged from moongleams 2. Dark sword is already a good weapon and arguably better than glass cutter, but that's another topic That said I use moon glass only for axes. The device would make the game easier for a cost, big difference. And there's no real reason not to have a dedicated area for moonstorms. Yeah I know about quick drop and that's actually really cool! Gives a chance for your and @ADM's mod as well, though you're probably right that it's much more.
