Through the years when I wanted to save special or bizzare worlds, I looked up on how to find the seed and replicate those same worlds. Needless to say it was a pain in the pig skin to say the least.... It's 2022 and I wanted to ask here if after all this time the method got better or if someone can explain better on how to do it. I would really appreciate, after one of my friends founded a fantastic and cool speedrun world. If you enable it in an already created world, then its seed will be shown in the world generation settings. Seeds are separate for forests and caves. If you enable this mod at the world generation stage, it will add fields where you can type any seed of your choice. Note that the settings of the world such as size, looping and branching must be the same as the the original world, where do you get the seed from, in order for them to be the same. Also, when you have already entered the game, by pressing Esc and selecting the server settings, there will be a new function to recreate the same world. I resolved the problem and it worked! YES!!! This mod is the salvation. I can't tell you how much I appreciate. This is soooo much better compared to what it used to be. It such a big relief something like this exist. And now me and my friend can play this special world without the fear of loosing it or maybe exercise better on speedrunning certain bosses by doing the same seed. It could be great if now Klei implement this in the base game, without the need of a mod. I heavily suggest this mod for those who want to play the same world! Really sorry for the late response!
