Thermal module is even worse than i thought

So i assumed 1 module will automatically heat your stone to glowing red, meaning you could, in theory, swap stones with other players and have permanent charlie immunity since red stones emit a dim light.

 

But no, you need 2 modules for a red hot thermal stone. That's 6/6 slots taken out.

 

Fix/buff the modules already, except speed and moggles, they are next to worthless.

As I wrote on the Beta Release post, how it functions is by raising your minimum temperature from -20 to 0 so if you don't have a thermal stone you'll always be in the brink of freezing in winter at 0 degrees but won't freeze as you can't go below. Idk why the other person in the same thread experienced freezing but it might be a bug or a misunderstanding stemming from the freeze overlay. I personally never took freezing damage with that installed in my testing experience.

Just like how night vision module was altered not to activate during dusk and full moons, we should ask from Klei to disable the freezing overlay when a thermal circuit is equipped. 

As the others have said, it makes you immune to freezing. I started a survival as WX a short while ago and it was so incredibly nice during Winter. I could do whatever, it became a second Autumn (except for the longer nights, but I would still much rather have the Thermal than the Optoelectronic). And you can get it easily too, I just made a bit o armor and healing and facetanked Dragonfly while Jimmothy scanalyzed her.

As for the freezing overlay, I really don't care, you get used to it quickly
