Saki_1128
After the March QOL update, Deerclops is dealing 120 dmg against any mobs, including players. Since she originally dealt 150 dmg against mobs and 75 dmg againt players, this is quite a radical change or simply a bug even considering she has a smaller AoE attack range. Whether this is intentional or not, I think it's problematic since it will literally crush down new players as the damage change wasn't notified on the patch note, and if it's not Klei left a huge bug during the beta branch. I hope this to be changed or at least given a revisit about this. Edit: Just found out that Winter's Feast Deerclops's laser deals 60 damage PvP and 120 damage PvE, so it's almost definitely a bug and I'm reporting this Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/138582-is-deerclopss-current-damage-intended/ Share on other sites
Cheggf
The bug was deerclops sometimes doing 200+ damage per attack since you could be multihit. The patch that fixed that also increased his damage so I think it's intentional. I like it. Deerclops deserves to be more than something you just hold f on for 10 seconds, and while this isn't doing that completely it's at least making it a slightly less attractive option. 33 minutes ago, Saki_1128 said: Whether this is intentional or not, I think it's problematic since it will literally crush down new players as the damage change wasn't notified on the patch note, He was made way easier to dodge. If they can't beat this dc they couldn't beat the previous one. The main thing is that her PvE damage and PvP damage are same while all other boss monsters' don't. Bearger also does 100 PvP dmg and 200 PvE damage, and Treeguard, Fuelweaver, several other bosses... most of them does twice as much damage to mobs than to players. But Deerclops and Deerclops only does the same damage to both factions. That's why I'm assuming it as a bug and should be fixed or revisited. Captain_Rage
You are forgetting that Deerclops is a giant lumbering abomination with huge long claws and a lust for destruction. Don't look only at the numbers.
