MayhemGaming460 Posted March 8, 2022 Share Posted March 8, 2022 It would be a good idea to put it in both platforms like the pc like the mods be a DLC but its free and all that if klei dev look at this post is this a good suggestion? like as an example: playable pets, creative (like you are extremely smart and full of knowlege in the game) shareable stats etc i just asking to put mod on XBOX and PS4 cause there is a custom section if you put it in the game Thank You! But niche mods like Playable Pets? Why end here? Lets ask for tf2 turrets, girlfriend mod, Pyramidhead, etc...? I think those are just as ridiculous as playable pets is. Playable Pets has 176k subs, too. Wouldn't say it's niche. Minecraft on PC and Mobile both allow Mod access, both the creation of your own and installing of other players for Free.. However: On Xbox & PlayStation “Free” isn’t a word they like to use very often- So you will discover that cool content you can download for free on PC or Mobile has a price tag on Xbox/PlayStation.. you also can’t make your own mods, but you can download the ones officially approved by Sony/Microsoft & Mojang to be on their Market place. For don’t starve together to have mod support on consoles would probably mean Klei just picks several mods and add them in as official content. I don’t realistically ever see PlayStation & Xbox getting Mod Support for DST.. I play on Xbox so mods are something I won’t ever get to enjoy- but… Mods aren’t completely useless either. A lot of good actual gameplay features (such as quick drop items) were once mods before they became official content.
