But Klei is really taking down these mods that cheat them out the game, meaning you get free everything if you never had to pay for anything on Dst then they go broke. Have you forgotten they barely could already pay the expenses (I think last year) with the money from costume purchases. Then they would possibly go out of business. On the other hand they did allow mods such as the one that allows you to get gifts like every minute or so... And about the Klei attitude not caring... Let me tell you a story (ps. I'm not angry or anything) but they care wayyy more than I believe every other game developer. Some of y'all may have heard of geometry dash another game I play. The developer Robtop stated, "2.2 will be a small update that will come out in a week." Tell me why like 6 years later still no update just bundles of teasers. People got so desparte that they hack geometry dash to get early access to the 2.2 stuff, and Robtop okayed it. Overall he added over 60 backgrounds (level editor), like 2 more vehicles, and a bunch of other stuff. And guess what the update still waiting to come out. He like a lying parent "I will give you candy tomorrow" and wave the candy in your face. To tell you the same thing the next day. Perhaps you like developers like these. Perhaps Klei, letting you cheat them out of money is them not caring. Added do you even know how much trouble it took Klei to get like they are? I'm not going to dwell on... So you are respecting them, and they said it was illegal; therefore, when they did this... it led to this article not respecting Klei. And because no legal documents were involved they took it down. So this is on Klei. But I do understand, Klei allowed mods thinking they would not cost money, but they okayed this. And they shouldn't take it down unless... you making a mod that interferes with their budget. Which would be something in the area of allowing people to get free outfits, and so like this. What were you trying to make a mod of? If a mod is intended for personal use and is marked public, report it and point it out specifically with the link to the guidelines. Valve does most moderation on steam and the workshop.
