I know not many people use them, but I use them when I demolish a slime biome. Currently, I have to debug to create them. I have tons iron ore and gold amalgam. But it does not register. Before the update, I thought it was refined metal. I wanted to see if anyone else had the issue. I have checked every game save I have, but it does the same thing. I only have one mod (the insulated door), and I disabled it to see if it was the problem. It wasn't. Is it possible that the rest is locked away somewhere that your dupes don't have access to? I've definitely done that before... I usually set the storage compactor for it (underwater) to yellow alert before mining any bleach-stone. Yeah, I used to as well, but there is always some silly thing that happens... either the dupe runs out of oxygen and drops it or the dupe has to really go use the toilet... breaktime for the evening... no matter what I do, it always seems that dupes just like to drop the bleach stone. I've seen them drop the bleach stone even with yellow alert going. I mean I let it all stand, then I make sure there is enough time and then I yellow-alert mine/deliver it tile by tile. That usually works. Plain yellow alert, I agree with you.
