Wanda's aging sound should be changed

Recommended Posts

I have literally no idea how to use this forum so im sorry if it was already said 100 times and this is a spam, but the aging sound we hear every 40 seconds is so annoying. There either should be no sound, or a sound that fits to the character, like a small tic from the clock or something like that.

You would be surprised how many people playing this game on an Xbox console don’t even notice their health ticking away even with the health loss sound- making it completely Silent would effectively be a death sentencing to anyone who isn’t paying attention to their age status- Which over on Consoles is hidden from view until the player presses a button that while pressed: Makes them stand completely still vulnerable to attacks.

Im used to the health ticking down sound because I play Dont Starve Single Players significantly harder DLC’s Shipwrecked & Hamlet: Which both had a poison damage over time bleed out effect when attacked by most mobs where your health core would continuously bleed out unless cured.

Wanda is technically just a character who is always suffering this poison bleed out effect: But it doesn’t have a Cure.

If people on the Console are getting benefitted from it, then people on PC that don't want it should make a mod to disable it themselves because I absolutely adore the health loss sound.

I'm not suffer from this sound, but I wanna see an attention phrase on a 79 years. I die a few times cause I wasn't keep enough attention

Already exists, the health has a blinking circle around it when you're low, which happens to every single character and to the sanity.

Wanda is a bit special. I think a short quote can help people like me to not stupidly dying while digging up my garden

Okay, I can understand that the blinking circle is pretty subtle and easy to miss. So how about an overlay around the edges when you're say, about 75 years of age, kinda like when your Beefalo is low. Have it maybe like clocks that are constantly ticking down rapidly.

Yeah, sounds cool. Much better then quote, to be honest. Can you create a new topic whith this suggestion? I wanna see it in the game

But 5 years is 3,3 minutes. It's too much. Maybe 3 years? 2 full minutes?

How high is the volume of your game? Lol

I dont notice it most of the time because, after few days playing, your brain gets used to it

I would love a more "clocky" sound but is bassicaly the sound you hear when a stat drops so why would they remove it?
