Make night a full quarter of a cycle to balance power better

Recommended Posts

Solar is a little too good, Plug Slugs are garbage, and dupes barely get any health back from the "bed rest" status because of how little they're in bed for.

So...make night longer and make dupes need more sleep. To compensate, reduce times for many tasks (especially the microbe musher, as it's basically a noob trap with mush bars currently).

That's a separate issue. Bed rest needs to have a higher health regen stat. Or wounded dupes should rest on the triage cot by default.

Each cycle being longer overall would be great too. Not only would that improve on overall productivity as more work can be done, but the initial cycle won't be that massive of a race against time to setup bathrooms. It's a little comical how that is the most critical thing you have to setup before the very first end of the shift and having to rush and ignore literally everything else to do it. Less save frequency as a result as well.

If the total cycle time was increased from 600 to 900 (+50%) then adjust whatever else needs to be adjusted around it I think that would be interesting.
