nikk
Most forums restrict them and you should too. It is very difficult to read your forums with such messages... Use built-in reactions system https://invisioncommunity.com/features/engagement The only exception to make is for developers when they confirm or deny something as post (so that we can get a notification). JoeW
Hey there, We actually do generally encourage players to follow our guidelines. And we do frequently pop in to remind people to keep things on topic if things get out of control. However, in my experience - it's never good to be an absolute stickler for these rules. Running a forum with an iron fist discourages open communication and doesn't make for a generally interesting community if everybody is afraid of having a little fun. And generally speaking people tend to behave better when they don't feel like they will be slapped down the moment they step out of line. That being said, if we notice that people are doing a bit too much of it, we drop in with a message asking people to get back on topic or will send a private message or pre-emptive warning asking people to keep posts constructive. babba
Yes, we will obey ... But game forums are also about fun ( ducking down ) Without fun in a forum, it will be as exciting as a repair manual for a Ford Granada, model 1972.
