I don't really understand the Spider and Hound transformations at all to be honest... Why use a Lunar potion on a hound or spider which are mobs with little health that are constantly trying to kill you anyway and will inevitably die quite quickly either to you defending yourself or some other mob? I can definitely see it being very handy/cool for Zoo's but otherwise it seems pointless. Also Horror Hounds and Shattered Spiders have the exact same drops as their normal version so you aren't getting any different resources doing this either.
