I think 1 ice for 1 use of watering can is too small.

Yeah. That, or fill your watering can in the caves. Stocking up on water before winter is perfectly viable, even early game.

Of course you can stockpile watering cans and there're so many not frozen ponds outer mainland, but that doesn't mean ice shouldn't be another viable way to refill watering can.

1 ice for 1 use still feels like a neglected or not fully implemented perk. Alternative way of gameplay shouldn't be ignored, in my opinion.

1 season that getting water is a little harder to compensate how useless are cans in spring

You do end up saving time even though there is infinite water at pond. Since it rains, you don't need to tend to your garden as much.

But you still need to keep them happy, while you keep them happy you can also use the time to water them

But ponds are an indefinite source except for winter, and then it becomes really annoying to fill your watering can.

Just because it's technically possible to grow crops during winter doesn't immediately mean you're meant to just freely grow them, since it's still winter. And even then you still get a really good profit if you fertilize properly and/or taök to your crops.

Just because large crops exist doesn't mean they're needed for farming to pay off. At least that's what I think anyway.
