viberr Posted September 14, 2020 Share Posted September 14, 2020 so a while back (may or july it think)i was playing dont starve together on my ps4(important)i was playing as wendy and i was mining some rocks and i had abigail riled up so while i was mining i noticed that the flower let me return abigail even though she was nowhere near me (if you dont know on consoles or least ps4 you have to go close to abigail to return her)so i was like neat klei must have made it to where you can return abigail from anywhere. so a bit later i tried to return her while she was far away but it didnt work. so after a bit i found out how i got her to return from far away it was my critter/pet personally. i dont know how this works maybe someone can explain but not me. i dont know if this works on xbox or if it works on all the pets but if someone is wondering exactly what i was using well i was on ps4 with a maxed out abigail (dont know if thats important or not)and i had a glom glom. personally i really like this bug/glitch/exploit i highly doubt it was intended but personally i dont want klei too get rid of this. k bye Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/121712-little-wendy-bugglitchexploit-i-found/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

That's how it looks like in your video to me. It makes sense considering Abigail is probably coded into the game as a pet.. BUT, I think it would be nice to not have to rely on glitches to get the same functionality out of my game as the PC version has. This is highly highly important if that Cross-Play thing Klei wants to do ever becomes a thing. You got any idea how many console players would get wrecked in PVP vs someone on PC? On Xbox to return Abigail into her flower without relying on the OP’s method (which I’ll have to test and see if this actually works) the ONLY way to return Abigail into her flower is to be standing within Spear slapping distance from her looking at the flower in your inventory and tapping the return button prompt when it pops up. Meanwhile- PC players can just pull the flower out of their inventory and drag click it over Abigail from anywhere on screen. In fact, Console players can’t drag and drop anything.. anywhere on screen. Which just doesn’t bold well for Cross-Play. Thanks for this tip OP I will be sure to check it out when I have spare time. I luv Wendy Posted September 18, 2020 Share Posted September 18, 2020 Confirmed it works on PC. Basically drag Abigail's flower on top of a pet and it should show return. Click and Abigail will return to her flower. Personally I think it could come in handy even for PC server. When I travels in caves sometime Abigail can't keep up with me and I have to wait for her to catch up at Tentapillars.
