Memetan Posted September 4, 2020 Share Posted September 4, 2020 When Woodie eat some monster meat it turns into his monster form (one of them), if you feed a Pigman with some monster meat it turns into a monster, and if you feed with monster meat Woby it turns into the monster "Big Woby". But Pigmans and Woodie turn into a monster when there is a full moon too, but Woby doesn't. Why? What do you think monster meat have to turn them into monsters? Like, are the mutations caused by monstermeat, and the mutations caused by full moon, different things? Does woodie, and the pigmen suffer from a curse that has many triggers? Or it may also be that Woby is just receptive to the monster meat mutagens and not really cursed. The creatures and plants that colonized the moon island were also passively mutated by the moon's influence, not by monster meat. But they also don't seem to become stronger or different during full moon, they are always mutated. I think only the loremaster Kris could have the final word about how do mutations, monster meat, and the full moon, interact with eachother. But delving deeper into these kinda stuff would be really interesting for the future updates. Before rework moster meat didn't cause him to transform, only full moon. I think is safe to say it changed after several years in Constant and influence of local (moon) magic... Monster meat is kind of evil-magic-infused stuff and only Webber is happy with that meat, probably because he is already a monster. What if in very long terms, everybody would get cursed/turned into monster...? Like Woby one day could stay forever as big Woby? Or turn into monster? WereWoby? This let me wonder if in the future, will there be a rework for Webber to change states due to the monster meat eaten, like certain amount of monstermeat turn Webber to a pure monster, small amounts of monster meat or none to remain his normal form and a certain product of Them or maybe lunar spider meat to turn human. If that happens, the other states shouldn't be permanent as his have 2 souls cooperating each other but just one overshadow the other for a while.
