Maxil20 Posted April 19, 2020 Share Posted April 19, 2020 EDIT: as of the latest version, Pearl’s Pearl has been retrofitted into existing worlds. All I had to do was repeat a task to get it. Thank you Klei! Old post: Spoiler I know the update is in a beta branch, which makes this understandable, but I’ve been confused as to why I can’t get the pearl. For anyone that doesn’t know, you get the pearl by accomplishing 10 specific favors for her, and completely upgrading the house. However, in my current world, I’ve done well over 10 unique favors with the house maxed and have only been receiving bundles of thanks. I know she still has to give the pearl, as I haven’t heard the unique final jingle to indicate the pearl status. At first I thought it was rushing the house to the point where certain states are not flagged and as a result the pearl is never given. However, I made the house extremely quickly on a test world and still managed to get the pearl without much difficulty. I’m wondering if there might be a saving issue with how tasks are saved, since that could be a very strong possibility. In addition, the world I did do this on was retrofitted with Pearl’s island, however I doubt that had any major impact in any of this. I would have bug reported it, but I can’t get any solid reason as to why this is occurring, especially if it’s this odd. *In case of any world gen/mods, I don’t use a single server mod on any of my worlds, and the only difference between my main world and test one is the test one was in Survival, and the main one is in Endless. Both had caves, and all settings default. bruhmoment23 Posted April 19, 2020 Share Posted April 19, 2020 Same here, i've done so much for her , heard the final jingle, text color switch, but nothing happened. I have not received the pearl, ending in me spawning it just to test it on the crab king, i aswell dont use any mods, my current server is pure vanilla. Don't know what's up with that honestly. Cuikui Posted April 19, 2020 Share Posted April 19, 2020 Currently, there is a bug that among other things prevents the Pearl from appearing if you shut down the server between the house update and the level 10.
