Don't Starve Together Patch 1.74 - 3/27/2020 (PlayStation 4)

  • Changed Abigail's damage back to be based on time of day instead of Wendy’s health.
  • Increased Abigail’s damage during daytime and dusk.
  • Abigail's attack besets her opponents with ghostly petals for a short period of time, increasing its damage received from all other damage sources. Wendy is able to take advantage of this and will deal substantially more damage.
  • Spectral Cure-All now lasts for 30 seconds and the other Ectoherbology elixirs now have a duration of 1 day.
  • Replaced the Choleric Tonic with Nightshade Nostrum.
  • Nightshade Nostrum allows Abigail to call upon the power of darkness, causing her to deal nighttime damage during the daytime and dusk.
  • Abigail’s shields received a minor increase in duration.
  • Retuned the number of Mourning Glory required to craft the Ectoherbology elixirs.
  • Reduced how far away the Pipspook’s lost trinkets will spawn.
  • Abigail is now less aggressive while riled up.
  • Changed Abigail’s riled-up targeting to encompass more creatures.
  • Pipspooks now spawn when a new day begins, instead of when night begins (to allow spawning in worlds with night disabled).
  • Pipspooks have a higher chance of spawning when there are more Wendys in the server.
  • Wendy will now provide some speech when filling the Sisturn with flowers (to hint that it reduces the time it takes for Abigail to level up).
  • Fixed a crash when Abigail kills an Eye Plant.
  • Fixed Abigail getting stuck at her initial stage when Wendy dies.
  • Fixed the scaling of Distilled Vengeance’s damage fx.
  • Fixed various Wilson skins hair orientation in the back view.
  • Fixed missing fur tufts on Wortox.
  • Fixed several Wortox eye textures.
  • Fixed an issue with Wendy’s Nostalgic skin’s hair when doing the kiss emote.
  • Fixed Abigail texture resolution issues.
  • Removed incorrect burnt Shared Armoire textures.
  • Corrected Wendy Deluxe Wardrobe description.
  • Added new Wendy Vignettes.

Note: Unfortunately we ran into a delay for a few days due to the XDK expiring, but the Xbox One update for Don't Starve Together is still coming once it passes certification at Microsoft. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks.

I was going to ask an old question, but every update I said, maybe the next one, they will implement the buff for Mushlights and glowcap. So here I'm again, is this will be an exclusive thing for PC? or will we get it too?

Changes:

  • Glowcap and Mushlight now last twice as long as before.

Are we getting this as well in the future?

Stay safe Klei <3

There shouldn't be any difference between PC and console, the mushlight/glowcap code is the same.
Are you sure that the behaviour is different between the 2? If it is then it's a bug.

I test this after (160) update, which was the same patch note for the PC update (371739), but missing the Mushroom Lights buff for console patch note, hence I asked if the buff was in, because I see no differences on the spoilage time, they used to last 17-19 days before the 160, and they do the same after 160.

And to be frank, I only test this during the Halloween update! I do not know now if they act the same still or not, but I'll try doing it one more time to see if they last longer or not.

I played Wendy a little bit the other night, and I like most of the new stuff. I just decided not to play her because I'm constantly smacking Abigail on accident, making her reset. It's very frustrating. Most of the time I will just be doing routine things and *smack*...crap.

Is this feature necessary for balancing the game? Just wondering where it fits in or what the thought process is for it...if there is a reason Wendy can so easily be her own worst enemy lol

It’s fixed in the latest PC patch which won’t be on Xbox or PS4 until later..  but to answer this question for you...

This feature was a remaining thing from BEFORE they Reworked Wendy, Used to it didn’t matter if you Smack Abigail, because it didn’t take the health she had from 600 back down to 0 as if she had died.

With the upcoming fix though, Accidental Abigail smacking only Returns her into her flower without Reseting her health points or the potions you had applied to her.
