Is Forge ever coming to Consoles?

I know in 2017 Klei announced that they wont be adding Forge to xbox unless the community was interested in it but has that changed? I think most people on console in general would like to play it so is there any plans in the future to add it or should I just give up all hope on it?

Both the Gorge and the Forge were on consoles, the Problem However was that Klei ran those events from their own Servers so they had to pay the costs in running those, and Console Updates didn’t get approved till sometime after PC already had it.

So in short- The Event was pretty much Ending already by the time it even started for the Consoles.

Which is why I have been here on these forums hoping that they eventually add that content into the game permanently, so we the players can host and run it instead of Klei having it up for a limited time occurring costs on running it.

The Forge never made it's appearance on consoles. On neither of the platform. 

Though, as you suggest, having  those events as a permanent option in the base game would be really cool.

Let's hope they change it, so both PS4 and Xbox One can get it!
