Any way to get tungsten without glimmering planet?

Very minimal wolframite on my Volcano map; looking like no glimmering planet on my star map. Feels kinda silly to have niobium way easier to get then tungsten...

yea we get used to Niobium being the rare and scarce element but in the end, wolframite is much more hard to get.

some people even talk about melting the tiles to save scarce resources.

Yeah- I’m sitting here thinking whether dripping liquid steel on abyssalite might work...

I read more about flaking somewhere else. If you have a small amount of wolframite it probably is worth considering this if you have no glimmering planet and want more thermium.
Basically melt steel and use that in pipes made of insulation to melt stuff. There is another way to superheat hydrogen and use that. You then melt abyssalite or wolframite directly to tungsten.

Ok, somehow I read over the fact, that you have some Wolframite... (gooooood morning )
Anyway, with Wolframite you can just start with a metal printer, obviously.

I’ve never been into the more exploit-y game approaches, but in this case it may be called for...
