Mooagain
Lots of people have said to make squids drop ink. But how do we gather ink? My idea: A bucket on your head. I don't know how to craft it, but it would be fun to just strap a bucket to your head, and catch any ink the squids throw. It would also have other perks, like water resistance, and perhaps an immunity to earthquake damage.

I'd love to use it for ranching some creatures such as Goats for milk or Squids in this situation ! Might also change the Bucket O' Poop recipe with this new item, honestly I hope this is taken in consideration. Spoiler And yes, we want Ink

Ezaroth
Volt Goat drops a bottle of milk, so I don't see why the squid can't drop a bottle of ink.

Because unlike goats, squids don't have bottles inside them. The game needs a bit of realism.

-Nick-
I was thinking a way to get ink from a squid is to catch it and then put it in a scale-o-matic and then you can feed it fish to get ink just like the mechanics of a birdcage
