Water freezes in winter.

It wouldn't be cool if in winter, the water freezes and everything.  I had this idea when I was in the bathroom, and I wanted to share, I personally really like Don't Starve Together, and I'm really enjoying this update, since I didn't want to buy shipwreckd anyway, so just giving you an idea.

Ponds already freeze in winter. I assume that the ocean doesn't freeze because it is saltwater and would require much lower temperatures.

Fair enough, I just think it would be cool. Dunno.

Not only is the ocean very salty but the movement from tides and waves prevents it from frezing too. 

I think that it would be very interesting to have icebergs in the Winter.

There were previously icebergs (not the ground-based mini-icebergs) found among the speech strings, so it's possible that we'll get some icing up in a future ocean update.

A frozen ocean would be too easy to explore. Maybe floes appearing on the ocean that the character can jump on.
