ThoroughbredFun
Its a simple room but I think It could be useful. Same sizing as other rooms. Debris in room don't give a - decor value. Storage chests store 20%more in room Debris in room wont be moved into storage containers except by auto sweepers and using the sweep tool( so your dupes wont store things that are already in a storage room unless you sweep it) room requirements: under 64 blocks must have storage bin must have light no industrial machines reply with suggestions on how to make this better <3 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/108587-storrage-room/ Share on other sites
goboking
I like the idea of no negative decor from storage compactors or loose debris, but I'm not sold on the additional storage capacity. What happens to storage compactors filled to capacity if the room bonus is lost? If content is jettisoned, how does the game determine what goes and what stays? ThoroughbredFun
I would think that it should stay in the storage bin, the dupes just wouldn't be able to put more in until it either goes below the threshold or gets the bonus again perhaps taking overload damage every once in a while. Gwido
I prefer building my infinite storage, where duplicants can't even get extra material that can't be put into storage container, and so, don't loose decor value. LordHalo
Just use an auto dispenser (technically uses power but for some reason doesn't need to dispense) you can stack everything onto a single tile. and you can limit exposure by preventing dupes from walking across.
