Pips might be because the volgus was a bit too hard to code. Risu Posted July 6, 2019 Share Posted July 6, 2019 The Volgus was fully functional. Their only behavior was to flee from dupes to their den which could be destroyed. Not exactly a well fleshed out creature. Also they were probably never implemented because the den was a spawner. You could probably survive forever by murdering them for meat. Doesn't go very well with the later added breeding system.
