Can cold biomes be already melted from the start?

Recommended Posts

19 cycles in and it's gone.
You can see the few remaining pieces of wolframite to know it was a cold biome.
The temp of the water and gases are around 30C

Was this supposed to happen?
The water above makes me wonder if it happened in another biome.

Indeed, precisely because it was not part of a frozen biome, it was set to a temperate where it instantly melted or rather already was. Kinda defeats the purpose of it but welp, it is not like this traits is more than a day old so it is likely to get fixed, that is, if there is something like "temperatureOverride". Similar thing happens to geodes where ice can instantly be molten (they actually do not contain water or polluted one so this could actually be deliberate design) or solid gases be highly dense gas gas.
