The fix to that bug where you drown in the water is just spawning you near to where you fell in, but with reduced max hp, reduced hunger and sanity. Not the best, but it's certainly better than dying.

Also, the bug is fairly easy to trigger if you like hopping on a boat and onto land many times in quick succession.

That's not the bug, nor a fix to said bug.

That's just what happens when you fall into the water, as in, when your boat breaks, or when you jump off the plank.
Falling into the water near the edge is a bug that was fixed, but broke recently, again.
The fix would be not falling off, at all.

Updated world generation animation

Currently, the player's vignettes cover the world generation animation. Is it possible to make it so that the vignettes don't load for the world generation animation, since that animation is only seen once every time you make a new world?

The vignettes are more nicer for when you're loading into an already generated world and when going between shards so you don't see the  "Connecting" logo imo.

It already functions like this. World gen takes priority over the vignette.

Vignette only shows up post gen, where it'd show the whirlpool with cut-outs of beasts, tall maxwell and wilsons or willows.

You're right. For me, the world generation sounds was still occuring when I saw the vignette, making me think it wasn't done until you said this.
