Good morning everyone. Yesterday I wanted to show my last save file to my friend and I have a problem with it because the save file was in my computer.

I suggest to create a website that ONI upload your save file (or you apload them) and you can login with your account to this website. In the website you can see all of the overlays and your base (without play just watch). That idea also can be very helpful in a mobile app.

If you create this site please write somewhere on this site iiitttsss;)

I don't think you realize how much of a massive task you are talking about. I suspect the only remotely realistic solution would be to use Unity to make a port to WebGL. You wouldn't have the hardware to run the game, but viewing the game while paused... just maybe.

It's likely a really bad idea because it would seem you would have to download the game each time you would watch it. Also hosting the server for this service wouldn't be free and it would take a significant amount of development hours to make. In fact it's possible that it would take a significant amount of hours to reach the conclusion that it can't be done.

Why don't you take a series of screenshots instead?

I think that if Klei program that it will be possible and they can add advertisements to get money from this service.

Also after they finish with the game they'll have free time to do side missions like this one.

Thats not how it works. Its a huge thing you propose, nearly a second game. And when they release the game, the core team will move on to another project already slotted. Only a small team will stay at oni, fixing bugs and working on a DLC. A game studio never has "free time".

Free time with paid workers is a sign of bad management and usually not something you encounter. It can happen if the company produces parts for machinery or something similar and by chance thy finish everything ordered and then there is a week before another order comes in. It's not common, but it happens occasionally. If the company's work is less depending on orders, like in software development, then the company can plan to avoid wasted time.
