Monster HP doubled?

So did I miss something in the update notes? Spear seems to be dealing half damage... 4 hits to kill spiders, 6 for pigmen etc.tested fighting with tools and it took me 8 to kill a spider.What's the deal? I like the change (harder = better) just seems weird not to mention such a big change.

no just our weapons,armour and health have been nerfed, so we're waeker and do less damage

Yup, all characters are kind of pathetic now in how much damage they do or can take, it is best to rely on others.

It's a good change. makes combat more challenging, which was needed. Plus you might be motivated to use other tactics instead of just tanking through the monsters, like using traps, fire, or ranged weapons.I haven't tried any ranged weapons yet cept the boomerang, but i'm lookin forward to seeing how balanced/difficult/fun the combat can be when using other tactics besides just the 'stick and move' technique.

Yeah you can't just slaughter pigs anymore just by spamming your left click.I feel that it was called for. The game was definitely way too easy pre-winter patch
