Shin
The title of this thread say everything:What is the sense to keep a mandrake alive/to pick it up at night? It follows you but it still has no use. It's even more risky to keep them alive because you can lose the item by set them on fire or they get eaten by a gobbler. So it's much safer to kill and store them. The only use to let them follow you is when your inventory is too full to store them.
helointernet
I haven't tried, but, maybe they help with sanity at night like pigs do?
Shin
Maybe. I need to test it.
Avarwen
Right now nothing they just screech at you all night. I'm thinking Klei might add something later once the game goes live.
Kittiko
Really? I haven't checked since this patch but you used to be able to move them using a torch (they would run away from the light) and when they were in the dark they would dance. Avarwen
Even if I didn't have a torch they'd run from me.
