caffeinated21
For high temp mega-engineering projects it would be super helpful to have an element that was liquid to higher temps then super coolant; this would allow controlled cooling of thermium buildings in a vacuum. Lead would be a cool option, as it melts at 327C and boils at super high temp. Could also work as radiation insulation if that is ever implemented Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/104224-element-that-is-liquid-between-400-1400c/ Share on other sites
SakuraKoi
Well, hopefully with the 3 new biomes scheduled for release, new elements will be added as well which have distinct features like that. Currently the metals which are not naturally generated, Pyrite and Electrum, are mostly like Copper and Gold. Incidentally making Radium (which is in a similar state) similar to its RL counterpart would fill your suggested niche, albeit not going as low as 400°C (only ~700°C) but goes up to ~1700°C. Sasza22
Pyrite should be iron as it`s basically FeS. Would be nice to have more stuff though. We might get some of the stuff from the codex that was never added like mercury.. axxionx12
I'm hoping for a nuclear generator that converts radium into intense heat that can boil water and power steam turbines Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/104224-element-that-is-liquid-between-400-1400c/#findComment-1170179 Share on other sites
