Madbro
I accidentially found the old multitool that is disabled now is the water fetcher tool. I am thinking about whether we should restore it or not. With reduced efficiency, duplicants have to fetch inside water rather than onshore. And the pitcher pump will require some research. kurzaen
Ah, I remember the old water fetcher tool. I believe it was kinda buggy though, like, my dupes would get in an infinite loop of sucking nothing because the water they were initially fetching moved or was completely drained. Also, bonus points for that screenshot, Mi-Ma would definitely do things the "old fashioned" way lol.
Zarquan
The big problem is that they pulled water from anywhere without regard for quantity or location. They took water out of water locks. This was before the age of germs, so if we had this, we would have then delivering germy water to machines. I believe the pitcher pump was an elegant solution to this problem, allowing us to decide which water source was used.
Sasza22
They could recycle the art for an auto mopping machine that could double up as an advanced pump. Let the thing pump super hot stuff without touching it.
