0xFADE
Are there specific angle increments that asteroids fall in or is it a smooth range? There should be some silo depth where you can guarantee that only completely vertical asteroids will hit the bottom. So at some depth you can protect machinery just by having it on the sides. The total depth could be smaller if asteroids fell at like 1, 2 degrees rather than .01, .2 degrees. With a depth like that you wouldn’t need to use bunker doors on the top as well. 0xFADE
Just a guess. Which is why I was asking for the angles. If it is an integer angle then it shouldn’t need to be as deep. If the angle could be 0.01 for example then it might not ever be able to be deep enough.
