kevork
I'm not sure if this is a bug or intended, I found building a diamond window over my telescope to protect it from debris will block its line of sight. Deconstructing one tile restores line of sight, rebuilding it blocks line of sight. The light overlay shows high illumination to the telescope when protected by diamond window tiles. Using newest build to date, 311032. Any help? JohnFrancis
You should use Airflow or mesh tiles, they don't block telescopes, scanners or solar. impyre
Also, removing one tile does *not* restore visibility. Visibility has a percentage range which affects the efficiency of the building. As your screenshot shows above, with one tile uncovered you still have "Reduced Visibility". This isn't an all-or-nothing debuff, the more restricted the field of vision, the worse it gets. I really think these tiles shouldn't be considered "opaque" to the observatory as they are now, but I suppose we'll chalk it up to them not being "optical grade" window panels, thus interfering with the telescope. (Even then that seems like it should be a visibility penalty, not complete blockage) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/103200-window-blocks-telescope-line-of-sight/#findComment-1158481 Share on other sites

FIXBUGFIXBUGFIX
Glass blocks 10% sunlight, which is much higher than the limitation of telescope (around 0.8%) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/103200-window-blocks-telescope-line-of-sight/#findComment-1158555 Share on other sites
