VitorF
So I build a super-coolant hydrogen/oxygen liquefier, and I made an automation setup so that when the Hydrogen and/or Oxygen got too cold, the super-coolant would just loop the pipes and a liquid reservoir, without going through a thermo aquatuner. I thought this would work, but when I went back to check it, the temperature was way low on both storages. Maybe the liquid reservoir mechanics are a little off? SharraShimada
Big Question, does the loop go through both tanks? Because if so, you end in a kind of hysteresis loop. First its too cold, then you cycle it without cooling, but the hydrogen champer is way colder compared to the LOX chamber. So the LOX will freeze solid. That removes heat from the coolant, which will get to warm, and your aquatuner will kick in. At some point you end up with temperatures, that freeze hydrogen, bevause even the frozen oxygen can remove some heat from the coolant. As nice as it looks: Cut them in half, do seperat cooling loops, and keep the tanks away from each other, because, even with perfekt insulation, the game glitches heat and cold sometimes. The background-processing (everything you cant seet, because your cam is somewhere else) is not perfect at the moment. I usually just place a liquid reservoir in the loop so that it may compensate for any interruptions in the flow, but when I spent some time without doing space missions, this happened. I guess it must be the background-processing being glitchy. Other parts of my base also had some weird events taking place.
