rev_ursa
For any device that sends a data signal, it would be nice if there were a player triggered (NOT duplicant triggered) test button that sends the signal. That way we can build and test something and know we wired it correctly before going to full blown production. theaspect
Ahaha, good try. No need to wait dupe to come to switch, you can switch manually all automation Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/100827-data-test-button/#findComment-1134342 Share on other sites
Sasza22
Most people use pressure sensors and just click the above/below button to change the signal. Bomato
just enable sandbox mode to place and remove automation stuff for testing. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/100827-data-test-button/#findComment-1134593 Share on other sites
TG pro
I think rev_ursa is talking about something else. Removing automation stuff and activating sandbox mode is annoying. I never thought of this idea, but I like it! rev_ursa
This is mostly in frustration from trying to get the timing on my blast doors and my powered airlocks right for regolith management. Waiting for the next meteor shower to tell if I got it working or not is a hassle. I like the idea of using a pressure sensor or (in this case) a temperature sensor to simulate the signal. Coolthulhu
Use clock sensors. It's literally what you're talking about - remote-controlled signal sender.
