Glassyfo
So does the update give you something to do with sulphur yet? Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/100475-sulphur/ Share on other sites

Glassyfo
Ah okay. That's too bad. I wanted to wait until something could be done with sulphur before switching to a natural gas machine. Guess I'll stick to petrol for now. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/100475-sulphur/#findComment-1130828 Share on other sites
zergologist
I think you can vent it into space Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/100475-sulphur/#findComment-1130832 Share on other sites

LeftyRighty
true, I guess you could pass it back through the boiler to help strip some heat and turn it into a gas to vent... although, some googling around for real world uses, sulphur is primarily used in making sulphuric acid then used in fertilisers, insecticides, vulcanising rubber and explosives. Perhaps an alternate recipe in the fertiliser synth to make sulphur based rather than phosphorous based fert (and perhaps plant variants that need that?). Insecticides would need more "diseases" in the game, perhaps blight for plants or some critter based pests. Or just a use for rubber. Angpaur
I was hoping that sulphur is an introduction to explosive update. Finally there could be real combustioin, fire and explosions. Maybe it will be in next content update if we have any. fredhp
With the new thermal sensor range, my sulfur will, probably, be turned into gas and vented to space when struck by the billions of joules (or.. DTUs) of high pressurized Steam at 1500c...... Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/100475-sulphur/#findComment-1131347 Share on other sites
