Unusable items?

There's some items in Hamlet (some from the base game) that seem to be of no use. Could anyone confirm?

- Fishing rod: tried the pools in the painted biome, the lily ponds and ruins, none will let me fish

- Honeycomb: what's the use of this one? There's no craftable bee box (and no bees)

- Bee mine: craftable but there's - still - no bees

- Pig skins? (from bats): only usage I could find was to stack it onto real pig skins to turn them into pig skin.

You can use the fishing rod to retrieve sunken relics from the lily pond biome. But no actual fishing.

Pig skin? and Pig Skin differ only in appearance and name. They are functionally interchangeable, meaning you can use Pig Skin? for any recipe that requires normal pig skin.

Really? How? I've "mouseovered" everywhere in the lily pond biome and at no point I had the option to fish... :/

Well, traditionally, there needs to be a sunken relic for you to retrieve the sunken relic. If they are there, you can see them at the bottom of the lake and they'll make bubbles.
