Compost seeds without 1000 clicks?

Is it possible to do this without clicking on each individual seed, clicking on 'compost', then repeating 1000 times for each of them?

store them all in one compactor, dump compactor, each seed type is one pile now, compost the whole pile

store them in a compactor, click on compactor select the seed type in question (in case there's more than one) and choose compost

I use this all the time.. the last save I did i accidentally composted all of my mealwood seeds (i'd switched to shrooms)  LOL.  I now have a compactor set to 14K that i put mealwood seeds at a higher priority than the general compactor to avoid this

I think there should be a way to get almost every resource from space, so you at least have a way to recover from shooting yourself in the foot like this.
