Any fast ways to get wood?

Without my BFF Bearger, I'm at a loss. Everything else can either be made fast and easy, is fast an easy, or can be done in creative ways (twig/grass farms, various ways to get oinks, iron from exploring etc). But then... then there's wood. There's always wood. Chop chop chop snooze chop chop gj you got 1-2 logs now dig out of the stump if you want another one or keep on chop chop chopping. Have you found any efficient ways of getting it?

Plant the trees near a lake biome and use the hyppopotamoose jump attack to destroy trees.

Yeah, just use Hyppos. They are great for destroying stuff. They might even harvest trees for you if they fight frogs or mosquitos

perhaps pugalisk can chop trees?
