crypticorb
I don't understand what you mean by "reduced air quality". You can get perfectly clean oxygen from electrolyzers, which ignore food poisoning infected water, and algae deoxydizers give clean air so long as the algae isn't infested with slimelung. Polluted oxygen can be scrubbed easily by placing deodorizers every 10-20 tiles, or ignored completely if you have exosuits. Are you referring to decor, and machines/wires that reduce the decor quality? This can also be ignored or mitigated by keeping heavi-watt power wires away from places dupes spend time, and spamming decor items next to refineries/crushers/smelters and paintings in all the food/sleep/bathroom places. Not sure if this is helpful for you: One can build an overpressure room, by pumping pure oxygen into that room. For this its good to know about dupes "Popping eardrums", if they receive too much air pressure. If you have other gas producers in the room ( dupes, machinery ) then you could either consume those unwanted gases or figure out ways how to get them out ( pipes, consumers, freezing ) . I'm no expert on building rooms, it's just what I used to do in the game myself. Perhaps you can provide screenshots, then people can perhaps help you better - If they know what the exact problem is. Are you sure about this - I kinda tested feeding food poisoning polluted water to electrolyzer and it seemed to me that the resulting oxygen had germs in it? Yes, but food poisoning in the air does nothing. It needs to be on food to infect dupes, not breathed. Sasza22
I think he has a problem with polluted oxygen. Things like slime, polluted dirt and polluted water (bottled as well) emit polluted oxygen. You can clean it by putting a deodorizer nearby. The bonus is that clean oxygen kills slimelung as well over time. Just put deodorizers at the exits from your base end ner compost and polluted water tanks and you should ahve clean air.
