When I look at the germ overlay on my base, there is food poisoning in the polluted water tank and the filtered water tank, but not the clean water tank and the rest of the base is clean too. I have a sink going into the kitchen and my lavatories are fully plumbed. So I'm good ! Except....naah ! When food poisoning hits, it takes ALL of my dupes, I have 9 dupes out of 12 on beds at the moment, and while the other 3 are on 100% immunity, but if things go like they did in the last epidemic, then they will go too. For the next few cycles I will spend all my time setting mop commands in the medbay, temporary med corridor, lavatory, bedrooms, and maybe mess hall. It will be a total puke fest ! I have about 60 vitamin chews, might as well be chocolate ! How can this be happening ? Is there a bug (he he) or some issue I have missed ? Help ! BLEEEEURGH ! Send food using conveyors system to a pit full of CO2 in the mess hall and food poisoning and spoilage is not an issue anymore. I think you have it @Neotuck because the start of the disease is always preceded by a message saying the dupe got the disease from "water" and i could never figure out where this "water" was being consumed. Although the screenshot doesn't show it infected, another tooltip says there are over 50000 germs in the water - It looks like a good bet that this is my problem. I have not been using much clean water since cooking with filtered water seemed to work OK. But I missed the water cooler, and luckily I did not connect the cappucino machine. Putting "Put in Facility to Make Clean Water from Filtered Water" into my task list, second only to "Mop up the Sick" Thx for the help.
