aquatuners + steamturbine to delete unlimited heat

Recommended Posts

If that's the goal you're after, its much like using a water sieve.  The steam is output from the steam turbine at a set temperature, regardless of input temperature.  Just like the sieve outputs clean water at a set temperature no matter what the polluted water temperature comes in at.

Well, I built one system with two aquatuners, Turbine and 10(!) gas pumps so it can stay well pressurized. While it does its job (keeps aquatuners that constantly cool water at 230+- Celcius), Turbine still works partially as its not enough hot temperature to keep it working (could add third AT, but it would be too much of cooling)

If you're wanting to delete heat, use a 3-door system to pump the steam back down instead of using pumps.  Also, you can limit the amount of steam that is cooled by blocking off some of the ports on the bottom.  With all the ports open, you need to be getting rid of HUGE amounts of heat.

This is the simplest method. Here's a stupidly simple and reliable 3-door pump, I'd power it for faster operation, but you can leave it unpowered, just multiply the delay numbers by 3x.

To put the steam turbines heat deletion potency into perspective, I had a 8x8 room of 1800oC magma that was heating a fully unblocked turbine, and it dropped the entire room of magma to 1400oC in just a couple cycles.
