Angelicat
Is it me or are heavy joint-plates leaking water/gas? The description says they aren't supposed to be doing that but in game it looks like they are. Sasza22
Do you have a screenshot of that happening? Maybe when you build them over a wall it can leak something from the other side but once done it shouldn`t. Neotuck
Are you in debug mode? If you dig in debug over solid building tiles they become intangable allowing gas and liquids to pass though Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/97521-heavy-joint-plate-leaking-watergas/#findComment-1104077 Share on other sites
Angelicat
I had water leaking through in one game without activating debug mode (no save unfortunately) and this problem never occurred a few months ago but did after I started playing again after the new update. But yes the gas leaking was in a game with debug mode on pause and i destroyed a wall piece and placed them at the empty spot. After unpausing the gas in a low pressure room kept rising. I'll keep an eye on it happening again and see if I can get a save/screenshot. Coolthulhu
This can happen if the material under a tile gets destroyed in any way. In case of normal tiles, destroying the material will properly trigger destruction of the tile, but not all solid buildings may be handled. Until recently, mapgen tiles could be in the state where they're not really solid (let gas through, unwalkable etc.). Joint plates seem to be more like wire bridges with solid tile in the middle than regular tiles. Fun fact: you can drag a normal wire directly through the joint plate without connecting it to the heavy wire.
