Yeah I was expecting either of those two. But with the other Hallowe'en skins it seemed lile Klei was aiming for more references of real life things like Willow's Wednesday costume and Wendy's The Shining-eque skin. So Wes' pierrot skin is appropriate in terms of how the design is a real life thing, of how real old styled mimes were. During the Dev Stream showing concept art of Hallowed Nights the developers did say on stream that the reason why Wes isn't spooky is because "he's too nice to be scary". Very lovely lore... I guess that's why zombie Wes didn't become a skin.

These are still costumes so Wes wouldn't wanna dress up scary
