Misley_
Hello to the community, I wasn't sure where else to go for help, so I'm leaving a screenshot of my current set up here. I'm looking for help with my pipes - this is the third play through where my pipe set-up isn't working and it's been very frustrating. My Google searches haven't been able to point out my specific problem, it seems that everything is correct - but clearly there is something I'm missing. Can anyone shed some light on what I've got wrong? Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/97452-organizing-pumps-etc-for-water/ Share on other sites
Cypher-7
Your second lavatory from the left has a clean water pipe going into the output for polluted water. Disconnect that pipe and should start working. Torngren
Its a mess but you got a toilet output connected to clean and dirty water Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/97452-organizing-pumps-etc-for-water/#findComment-1103135 Share on other sites
tzionut
Same here... the 2 output prevent the water flow in that direction.... Fischer_L
Yeap, second lavatory from left has connected water and polluted water pipes. Also, i don't know, may be it planned, but 2 pump and 2 sieve for this setup is overkill. And omg this loop right after second sieve defenitly unnessecary. tzionut
This is my setup. A little more complex but more efficient. In the spoilers you have more details. How it works: All the polluted water from toilets, sowers and lavatories go intro the water sieve and converted in water which go into the new liquid reservoir. The reservoir is submerged in chlorine which kill all the germs, The germ sensor in the water pipe send the water back if detect germs, if not goes to the toilets (no dupe of mine will wash whit infested water) and down to my 2 espresso machine. The excess water (if is water on the exit of the water sieve and is the middle of the work cycle ( no dupe wash then) goes to the oxygen production. I put also in the water sieve camera a sweep arm for input of sand and output of polluted dirt (for compost) and polluted oxygen (to my wild puffs) Spoiler Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/97452-organizing-pumps-etc-for-water/#findComment-1103229 Share on other sites

PhailRaptor
In addition to the goofy Lavatory the others have mentioned, the right Water Sieve has a pipe loop just below it. Gotta deconstruct one of the paths so the you don't get packets getting lost forever in the death spiral and blocking your plumbing. Also, not sure if it's really a problem or not, but the Sieve on the left is taking input from both the Showers/Lavatories/Sinks above, and from the Carbon Skimmer from below. I would use a Bridge to prioritize one side or the other, and have the other side work as a secondary. If the Skimmer is running pretty heavily, I'd give it priority, otherwise give it to the bathroom. Having both of your Sieves connected in the manner you have them could cause the "packet dance" as well. That means the packets will bounce back and forth between 2 positions, getting confused between the 2 Sieve inputs and trying, in alternating steps, to reach both of them and ultimately reaching neither. This might help: Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/97452-organizing-pumps-etc-for-water/#findComment-1103755 Share on other sites
