Sundance Posted October 25, 2018 Share Posted October 25, 2018 Right now i'm near cycle 300 and i was curious since i did avoid the surface and shove voles going on a rampage.. Long story short, i looked into it by activating the sandbox and my surface was fine... mostly -50°C with some minor 20 degree regolith, the new update made it fine unless you actually discover the surface i'd guess. At least before the latest updates 300 was when the abyssalite wall started failing. Steel is the perfect thing to keep the biomes safe but you could build a double layer of granite as well in most vulnerable zones and it would give you enough time so that you dodn`t have to rush.
