I have tried to have some biotech ideas.

I really mean, Biotic Technology. It can be awesome.

We already have the mysterious genetic ooze used by Gravitas Lab Facility and stuff like Neural Vacillators (one of the best thing in ONI  ) in the game, but I think that’s not enough, for me.

Existance of genetic ooze might have its use. (I’ll explain later.)

 

1. Meat Fab (vitromeat fab)

That is also what our scientists in real world try to do - GROW MEAT IN LAB ENVIORNMENT. This is a alternative of meat farming.

Meat has a high energy value. It can feed your dupes very well.

It’s operations requires meat (initially), along with a stream of O2 and clean water (otherwise it gives meat with germs). Outputs more meat than farming, but also produces polluted water and CO2 during operation as by-products.

 

2. Genetic Ooze synthesiser

I already have this idea long ago. A biotech machine that is left abounded by Gravitas. Give this machine some correct input may give you genetic ooze that can be used in printing pod for your own purpose like critters regeneration (especially you have some of them extinct).

Also need you to recharge it after every zapping.

 

While looking at my biotech ideas, I would like to request about others’ ideas about biotech adding into this game.

Maybe put this thing in the slime biome. It`s malfuncioning and producing slime instead but a tenured scientist can analyze it and unlock some recipies, like synthestic meat.
