Works amazingly well for cleaning scanners from regolith, and relatively compact (when door opens and scanner gets entombed miner cleans it). Observatory can overheat so it is more complicated, but  nothing impossible as well. Miners heat generation looks manageable (5 degree for miner near scanner per shower, can be made of steel), and with new super-coolant it should be much easier to make isolated space and cool the thing.

It has to be better than spamming door crushers.  Which works just fine.
