Hehe, yes, as a RimWorld veteran it does feel to me like ONI is missing combat elements.

On the other hand, I quite like the way the game currently is. Since the name of the game is "Oxygen Not Included", it makes sense that the game focuses on your dupes' needs (such as Oxygen) and not on combat.

Intruders consume your oxygen? ^^

it also feels like automatic constantly without any other distraction gets kinda teadious

I consider "not getting killed" a need.  ;)
